Meeting early 9.00 am prompt to avoid the crowds! National Trust – Plymbridge Woods – Via National Cycle Route 27
You will be met and welcomed by a Pi Host and non-members are welcome to book this event and give Pi Society a try!
River valley with oak woods, a cycle trail on a former rail line & Peregrine falcons at Cann Quarry. Cycle Route 27 easy slow incline from sea level right into south western Dartmoor with a delightful route through lush woodland along the Plym river valley across viaducts and through a tunnel and the National Park. The National Trust’s Plymbridge Woods and Plym Valley, Devon, is a wooded valley opening up to the moors of Dartmoor Clearbrook.
Do not park at Coypool or in the coach park area. Park at Plymbridge Woods car park. Safe and sensible for all even unfit occasional cyclists. Plymbridge is a good one -approx 6 miles to the Skylark pub at Clearbrook.
Sustenance – Homemade pack lunch
To keep all riders energised Pi society will provide a homemade pack lunch (To include 1 x sausage roll, bun – choc chip, or coffee & walnut, sandwich vintage cheese & chutney, or smoked gammon & cheese. Please inform us of any allergies!)
